Green Coffee Bean Extracts – Hype or Truth?

Advertising sure has a way of making people purchase certain products both online and offline. The manufacturers will try almost everything that they can think of just to make their products look appealing enough for customers to notice. For example, they will use some famous movie stars to help them with their advertising or come up with some sort of catchy slogan to entice the masses into buying their products.  In the case of green coffee bean supplements, however, trying to buy into the hype is not as easy as it seems.

I am not trying to blast the product in any way, shape, or form but since it is a fairly new “entry” in the world of weight loss supplements, there is still not much known about what this product truly has to offer.  So far, the only celebrity that endorsed this product—albeit unofficially—is Dr. Mehmet Oz, the host of The Dr. Oz Show.   According to Dr. Mehmet Oz, green coffee bean extracts have the ability to help you lose weight. He says that they are so effective you don’t even need to exert much effort when exercising in order to shed off your excess fats.

This sort of product is a dream come true for any person who wishes to lose weight. Just pop a pill, rest, relax, and watch as your weight slowly goes down.  But alas, this is simply nothing more than a pipe dream because you still have to work in order to see results.  There is no such thing as a “magical” weight loss pill that will help you drop your fat without letting you do anything. With green coffee bean extracts, you still have to shed some blood, sweat, and tears if you want to see some good results.

Green coffee bean extracts work through their high chlorogenic acid content. They are able to retain this chemical by not being roasted. You see, roasting coffee beans actually lowers down their chlorogenic acid levels in exchange for releasing their antioxidant content. This seems like a good trade when viewed on paper, but it is actually a great lost for those who want to lose weight.

And we also have to take into account the people who are not used to the taste of coffee. Yes, as tasty and delicious as java might be for most people, there are some who simply do not have the stomachs for it. Well, green coffee beans do not, I repeat, do not taste anything like java at all. This will make it easier for people who aren’t coffee loves to take in the supplements without gagging as if they were being choked.

In the end, it will all come down to being able to test the product for yourself and see whether or not it truly does live up to the hype surrounding it. Certain products often give different results for other people, so it is best that you decide for yourself. There is no point in listening to word of mouth if you yourself have yet to find out a product’s effectiveness by actually using it.
